Ten Crazy Cars

I was looking at my Family's old webpage, when I found my own poem/song that I made in February 2003! Rate and comment! (Rememmber I was 7 when I wrote this :D)

Ten crazy cars

Ten crazy cars did a crazy crime.
One got chased and then there where nine.

Nine crazy cars going through a gate.
One got lost and then there where eight.

Eight crazy cars going to heven.
One suddenly crashed and then there where seven.

Seven crazy cars testing a new petrol mix.
One got blown up and then there where six.

Six crazy cars going for a drive.
One went the wrong way and then there where five.

Five crazy cars wanted to drive more.
One didn’t have any petrol and then there where four.

Four crazy cars going towards a tree.
One went kapluy and then there where three.

Three crazy cars going to Timbuktu
One got lost and then there where two.

Two crazy cars turned into a crumb.
One got repaired and then there was one.

One crazy car wanted to see mum.
He drove away and then there were none.

Make Up Lyrics for Rock N' Roll, Guys! Competition!

COMPETITION HAS ENDED. NO WINNER.

Dear readers,

The title sais it all. You have to make up lyrics that are suitable for all ages (Not kiddy music though) and fit the song (See download or listen link at bottom of post). The song has a rock style to it. Very ACDC. I personally liked the idea of making it relate to food, but you can decide that!

Rules:

1. You must not have any language that is not suitable for all ages.
2. You can use any subject you like for the song.
3. Send the lyrics to Johannesmes@gmail.com in a txt file or in the email body.
4. Judges decidion is FINAL.
5. If you have something you want to change in your lyrics and you have already sent it, contact me in the same email address.
6. The lyrics will be sang out. If no good singer friend of mine does it, I'll do it!
7. Rhymes and cheezy lines give + to points.
8. Bad phrases and sad lines give - to points.
9. If your lyrics are good, but there is something unsuitable in them, you will be notified and you will have a chance to change that part.

The song is downloadable and you can listen to it in good quality here:

Happy song writing! You have time until 5.9.07, so get going!

COMPETITION HAS ENDED. NO WINNER.

Trip to Kantola

I might as well tell you about yesterday's trip since the website is now in a blog format.

Yesterday we went to a cottage called Kantola, where my grandma was born, with our grandparents. The trip to the area was about 15 - 25 minutes and it was surrounded by farmyards.

First we stopped at a farmyard and walked through a path made by a tractor that led to a forrest owned by our mother. I got out of the car and I found myself knee deep in... grass. I made my way to the boot where my grandfather handed me a pair of oversized wellington boots, which were rather uncomfortable to walk in. As we got to one of the edges of the forrest, we jumped over a ditch to get in to the actual forrest. There were lots of other ditches, but we made our way into the opposite end. My grandfather kept cutting down the small branches to make a path for us. We inspected some trees and got back into the car. I was happy to get rid of the boots!

The next and last stop was Kantola itself. No one ever really goes there, and last summer it was completely unused. This meant that the road there, was also never used last summer, and it was flooded with grass. It felt nice driving through all of it. At Kantola, I looked in the atic and it was quite delapitated. Planks all over the floor, old rusty tools that were propably used in the 1950s, lots of bee hives and last but not least, dust! The last place I want to be in. I went downstairs and checked the living room, the furniture was still in good condition. I saw my grandfather and Sakari making a fire in a brick surrounded area (so the fire wouldn't get out of hand) and I decided to join them. I walked through lots of wild grass to get to the fireplace and I sat down on the chair next to it. We all ate sausages, and have you noticed that every camper eats sausages at a fire? After eating, I got to put out the fire. Splash. Water. The fire then started steaming for a while. Then we got into the car, and drove back to our grandparent's house.
